Riviera Restaurant has been consistently ranked among Top 5 in Latvia, it has its own distinctive signature created by a long-time chef Janis Sokolovskis and a never-ending encyclopaedic wine list created by head sommelier Ivars Kalnins and sommelier part-owner Eduards Jakuševskis. The long wine list consists of 700 (!) entries - so it literally lists everything and anything from Rhone to Loire valley, and from Chile to Australia. Pay attention to the excellent grower champagne selection, and a very broad Italian selection including some great Barolos!

Sommelier’s Pick: You will definitely need Ivar’s help to navigate this huge tome, so here is his suggestion – 2007 Anthonij Rupert Blend from Western Cape, South Africa. Or if you feel nostalgic for the old times – how about a very mature 1978 Marchese Antinori Valpolicella?
