Dominic is a well-known French inspired dining institution right there in the heart of Tallinn’s Old town. Headed by Chef Allar Oeselg and Head Sommelier Imre Uussaar, the restaurant has been consistently ranked among the country’s Top 50 restaurants, and has received the “The Best Wine List in Estonia” Award for several times. And rightly so!
Dominic’s list an impressive and very extensive compilation (42 pages) of world’s classic wine regions, particular strengths being Champagne and Bordeaux. Who could resist Pierre Paillard’s 2004 Champagne Magnum (how cool is that?) for just 222 €? Or Selosse’s V.O. for a little over 200€? Lots of goodies under Austrian, German, Piedmontese and New World sections, plenty of treasures under 100 euros (Tardieu-Laurent Hermitage Blanc 2013 for 95€, anyone?) as well as a well thought-out collection of half-bottles and magnums.
The right person to talk at Dominic is Imre Uussaar – he is full of wine stories and will easily help you choose your next dream wine!
