Brainchild of one of Estonia’s leading wine figures Kristjan Peäske, Leib could be the ultimate benchmark for a wine-friendly restaurant. Located in Tallinn’s Old Town, it is very nicely priced (inviting you to trade up and spend more), very clearly designed, containing just about every wine you would ever want to drink with un-pretentious, but beautifully made food.
Leib (meaning “bread” in Estonian) focuses on local Estonian produce, and while the wine list Old-World centric, it includes everything from artisanal producers to bigger in-the-know producers, from Old World to New World, young and mature. Enjoy!
