An unpretentious wine-lover’s paradise in the heart of Old Tallinn, Leib has been a regular star at Baltic Wine List Awards. Having won “The Best restaurant for Wine Lovers in Estonia” award in 2019, Leib’s list has gotten even better – a touch shorter, more focused, and very well thought-out. It is a sort of place you’d want to return regularly – it does not try to dazzle you with super-famous wine names (although you’ll find an odd rarity of ’89 Ch. Margaux here), but rather shares a very sharp insider’s view of what’s trending in the wine world at the moment. Well done, Leib!
Our choice: If you don’t want to spend time wondering through Leib’s list, simply rely on “Sommelier’s Choice” in one of the first pages – we’d go for 2012 Sadie family’s Skerpioen (€59) and a new Austrian classic 2013 Moric Burgenland red (€57)
