Located in the very heart of Old Town of Vilnius in the beautiful PACAI Hotel, MUROS is a new sharing-plate and steak restaurant, curated by a well-known Lithuanian chef Liutauras Čeprackas. MUROS aims to deliver the “ultimate dining experience inspired by the best steakhouses from New York to Madrid” – that means you’re in for a serious treat with different cuts of steak and meats (but not only – plenty of other options here, too). Expect to immerse yourself in a sea of some of the world’s best known, most appreciated, instagrammed, talked-about and expensive wines here. Sure, there are plenty of options to enjoy below 100€ a bottle, but feels like you would want something extravagant to splurge on at Muros. Whether you fancy a Left-Bank cru classé, a Burgundian Grand Cru, a Californian cult-name Cabernet or a fancy Italian Amarone, they’re all here for your enjoyment.
Currently: Muros is temporarily closed during the COVID times, however, let’s keep our fingers crossed that we can soon return to this steak&wine temple!
Our choice: Why don’t we start with 2007 Taittinger Comte de Champagne (€220), and continue the evening with Quintarelli’s Rosso del Bepi (€270) to go with that exclusive 300g cut of New York strip!
